Hello Year 3,
The sun was out yesterday and I hope you were wearing sun cream or a hat when you went out for a walk! Nabeelah enjoyed her walk (push) to the park and Idriss is enjoying learning how to ride his bike.
Lets get started on our tasks.
Today's puzzle is...
3*4=12
ReplyDelete4+5+5=17
87-24=63
45+8=53
I think Horace is 10 years old as this is the only age missing
3x4=12

45+8=53
Horace is 7 years old.
3 times 4=12
ReplyDelete8+4+5=17
87-24=63
45+8=53
Puzzle:
I think he’s 10 because the ages are in order starting from 9 to13 and there’s no number or ages that is 10 in the party
Hi,
ReplyDeletea) 12
b) 17
c) 63
d) 53
I think Horace is 7 because every other person bought food which has the matching number of letters to their age. Peanuts has 7 letters so Horace is 7.
Thank you for the answers to the math questions.
ReplyDeleteFor the riddle both Lanilde and Freya are correct. Freya has even explained how the riddle works. Fantastic logic!
